REED - Rural Electric Economic Development Revolving Fund
The Rural Electric Economic Development Revolving Fund (REEDRF) purpose is to provide financing and help leverage private investment in small communities and rural areas. The fund’s goal is to participate in projects that will create rural economic growth, lead to permanent jobs in rural areas and small towns, improve rural development capacity, and stimulate electric sales for East River member systems. Eligible projects include private business development; business retention and expansion; community facilities and infrastructure development; and producer-owned businesses which add value to agriculture products.

Northeast South Dakota Economic Corporation (NESDEC)
NESDEC serves businesses and individuals in a 22 county area in northeast South Dakota. NESDEC can pledge a CD or participate (when funds are available) on bank loans to small businesses, make direct loans to individuals and/or businesses, and provide counsel, referrals and mediation to businesses in need of assistance.www.onida.org/nesdec.htm

Areawide Business Council offers a regional Revolving Loan Fund for job creation and economic development. This service is sponsored by Planning & Development District III.
The Areawide Business Council (ABC) Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) provides low interest financing for new and expanding businesses. Assistance is intended to promote the development of business and industrial concerns, create jobs, leverage other public and private funds, diversify the area’s economy.
